Establlished in 1993, Casteel Coffee is long recognized as Evanston's artisan roaster with a reputation for quality of product, source and service. Owned by Carol Harris, the company continues the tradition establlished by roast master Lee Casteel, with its attention to handcrafted detail in the roasting of Arabica coffees from around the world.

Carol notes that great coffee begins with great beans; Casteel offers one of the largest selections of varietal coffes available in Metropolitan Chicago. In addition to high quality specialty grade Arabica coffes and fair trade selections, Casteel's decaf coffees are naturally processed so that customers enjoy environmentally-friendly coffee without chemicals.
